Welcome to The Linda Nix Family Caring Place Clinic. The Caring Place provides free medical, dental, counseling, and vision care to uninsured and underinsured families. All doctors and nurses volunteer their time to help patients receive quality care under the direction of Dr. Wendy Collini, Medical Director and Dr. Barry Cole, Dental Director. The clinic has 5 Exam Rooms, 3 Dental Suites, an Optical Exam Area, and a counseling room. The clinic is also a school-based site for partners, John Peter Smith Hospital and the Mansfield Independent School District. We look forward to serving your family.

Our team of volunteer medical professionals are proud to help our patients achieve and maintain good health. It is our goal to promote a healthier future by offering free healthcare. Each of our physicians have practices of their own and volunteer at the clinic.
GIVE THE GIFT OF HEALTHShow Your Support Suggested donation of $25 for each sick-visit and $35 to see a specialist, dentist, optometrist? Your donation will help more families receive the health care they need. Services are free but labs and many medical supplies are not free to the clinic.
Patient & Practice Information
We strive to meet our patient’s needs. If you have a need beyond our scope of ability, we will refer patients to a partnering clinic, physician’s office, or lab for services.
Adult Eligibility Requirements: Must be uninsured or underinsured (May have Medicaid or JPS Connection but patient may only receive free care for areas not covered)
Prescriptions Requirements: Bring medication with identification for refills.
